Being a larger Lineman(280lbs), this motor impressed me by pulling myself and a cart full of spacers up conductor with grades of 50 to 60%. The brake system was extremely functional in these areas of steep terrain. The motor had enough braking power to hold me on the hill and enough engine power to start up the hill again. Another impressive feature of the Wall motor is reliability. After weeks of work and dozens of miles behind me, the motor required almost no maintenance and I experienced no breakdowns (unlike all other motors and powered carts I've used). I found this motor far superior to other pulling motors and powered carts I've used and wouldn't space without it.

The Wall Line Cart Puller has proven to be the most reliable, maintenance free unit I have encountered. After changing four bundle spacers on multiple circuits in the most rugged terrain of British Columbia without ever having to admit defeat I am truly impressed. Once we started using the Wall Puller we had significant gains in production by being able to change spacers on extremely steep grades that previously we were unable to climb resulting in coming off the wire, moving and relying on gravity. The dual brake system makes this task incredibly simple and safe as it can hold the cart back on the steepest of grades and allows an easy start while heading up hill. The unit truly makes any cart related task more enjoyable regardless of wire configuration and size.

We in B.C. are very lucky to live and work in a very mountainous area, the problem is traversing all these mountains in a conductor cart! On previous spacer projects we used a variety of different pullers, all with varying degrees of success. They would break down constantly, need lots of maintenance, seldom had the power to pull us up any steep grades, and could not hold you back on a hill, or stop you on a hill. After switching to the Wall puller, our productivity literally doubled, our safety while spacing doubled. The puller is capable of tugging a large lineman, I am 240 pounds, plus conductor cart, a load of 10 spacers, plus tools and gear, up the steepest inclines that we have here! 37 degree (70+%)slopes are no problem. The puller has an emergency brake, also a hand brake. If one has a problem with the saw motor, it can be removed and a new one installed in under a minute. This year we had 9 pullers going and covered 190 miles of line, without a break down. We simply would not endeavor to take on a spacer project without the wall puller. There just isn't another puller on the market that can come close to matching the all around performance of the wall puller. Ken Brown, Lineman 25 years
